- Opened in 1935, the Coulsdon Boy's Club closed at the beginning of WWII and became a local headquarters for both the ARP and the Auxiliary Fire Service. After the cessation of hostilities, in 1946, the centre was re-opened by Field Marshall Bernard Montgomery, hero of El-Alamein, as the Boys' Club. It is now the Coulsdon Community Centre.
